I’m Brandon Hsieh, the manager for the Naik lab. I am originally from Long Island but since then I’ve been bouncing between the boroughs of New York City. I obtained a B.S. in Biology with a strong concentration in microbiology. My research in the Naik lab is focused on understanding how exposure of inbred laboratory mice to farm environments alters the resident microbiota and the function of host cells in the skin. I am also collaborating with Dr. Xing to understand how the immune system may dialog with tissue stem cells during development. In my free time, I enjoy diversifying my palate by trying all the delicious food NYC has to offer and hanging out with my cat, Mika.
