Minu is an adult and pediatric dermatologist from India who joined the lab in September 2024. She completed her medical school (JIPMER, Puducherry), dermatology residency (AIIMS, New Delhi), and pediatric dermatology fellowship (CMC, Vellore) in India and is an Associate Professor in Dermatology at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. Her areas of interest are genetic and inflammatory skin diseases like atopic dermatitis, connective tissue disorders, and hidradenitis suppurativa. She believes that understanding the nuances of bench and translational research plays a key role in dealing with the complex clinical questions in dermatology. She has taken a study leave from her institution to hone her research skills.

In the lab, she closely works with Dr. Rachel Kratofil to understand the interplay of microbiome and immune pathways in the process of wound healing.

Outside of work, Minu enjoys singing, making handicrafts, and traveling.
