Joe receives an NIH F31 Award for his project “Decoding the mechanism of inflammatory memory in human epithelia”
We’re thrilled to share that Joe has been awarded a prestigious NIH F31 Predoctoral Award, the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award, in support of his research. This highly competitive award recognizes outstanding doctoral candidates and provides support for their training and development as future independent scientists.
Joe’s project focuses on remitting-relapsing inflammatory disorders, notably psoriasis, and the mechanisms that underlie how inflammation alters long-lived epithelial cells that predispose them to relapse and epidermal pathology. The F31 will provide critical funding and resources to help move this exciting work forward.
Please join us in congratulating Joe on this incredible achievement—well done!
