Dr. Yue Xing

Postdoctoral Fellow

Yue received her PhD from Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her dissertation research focused on understanding mechanisms of NLRP3 inflammasome and how inflammasome crosstalk with commensal bacteria to sustain homeostasis in the gut mucosal barrier. In the Naik lab she uses skin as a model system to study how immune cells non-canonically regulate tissue stem cell behavior in the context of both adult wound repair and neonate skin morphogenesis. Yue’s research is supported by The AAI Intersect Fellowship Program for Computational Scientists and Immunologists, and the NYSTEM training grant in stem cell biology.
