EmailFiladelfia grew up in Uzbekistan and earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Oregon, where she delved into the intricate realm of inner microbial interactions among human skin resident microbes as an undergraduate research assistant at Barber Lab.
Transitioning to the laboratory of hematopoiesis with Dr. Zou at Northshore University Hospital, she deepened her understanding of immunology, paving the way for her current fascination with skin inflammation and the intricate interplay between the immune system and neural pathways.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Filadelfia enjoys watching independent cinema, exploring architecture, painting and going to concerts.
